What can, or should, I say about myself? For starters, I adore the trivial, disdain the practical. The closest thing I have to a second language is one that has been effectively dead for over a thousand years. I could name all of the dwarves in The Hobbit without missing a beat, but I could not, for the life of me, tell you how to change the tire of a car. So it goes. I like to read, to ponder, to ask those two most important words: what if?
What if… I write more about myself?
Nah.
If, for some reason, you’re desperate to know more about me, then you can figure it out from reading my blog. Or just talk to me in person.
Also, my name is Nathan Ehret. In case you were wondering.

Hello Socratic Vagabond: This is your grandmother.
Your mom sent us your blog. I’m impressed. Good for you. I agree that the best way to learn something is by asking questions. My question is: Is life on this planet terminal ?
I await your next blog.
Eleanor.

Ahh, well thanks! Is life on this planet terminal? Hmm, well there are a number of levels of meaning to that question, not least of which is whether we’re talking about mankind, or life in general (though by now, the two seem inextricably fused). I guess I’ll have to address that in a blog post some time soon!

Hi Nathan,
I stumbled on your blog while researching about working at Cheonan Avalon/Langcon and seeing that you seemed to have worked there I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions.
Can i get in contact with you via email?
Cheers,
Mike
